Day 2 - Clean Up Your Vibes Challenge

So what's this step all about? Surely it would be easier and more effective to switch our negative thoughts up to actual affirmations?? Affirmations are amazing positive statements which affirm you have what you want right now... "I am super healthy" "I love my job" "I have all the money I need to pay my bills"... And they work so so well HOWEVER, for them to work well, we need have some belief in what we are affirming and some days, well..... that's really hard to do. When you're staring at your overdraft or are experiencing physical pain.... to generate the positive expectation and belief to even get the words out can have you giving up on the whole positive thinking process. Switching up our thoughts as we are doing in this step is a gentle move towards creating the belief and positive expectations we need to bring about the changes we are wanting. Sometimes our worries and problems are just TOO REAL for us to be able to imagine they have been solved. So... by saying 'ok this is where I am today..... but I'm looking forward to feeling better/having the money/losing the weight etc' starts to shift our thinking, taking our programmed "im stuck like this" thoughts to a new place where we can believe that IT CAN GET BETTER. IT WILL GET BETTER. It's so much easier to look forward to a new possible future than kinda pretend we have what we want now when our REALITY is screaming at us that we are wrong.
