Why You Need To Level Up Your Reiki

So this week I have had so many conversations with people about moving onto their next Reiki level. I am getting a growing feeling that many folks who want to have Reiki just for their own well being and connection feel that levelling up is a bit pointless as they don’t want to practice on other people and they certainly do not want to go onto teach. So here I am ready to clarify a few points and show you why you are doing yourself (and the Universe) a disservice by thinking this way…..
When we start out on our Reiki journey – no matter what kind of Reiki we go for, we all want it because it will help us. Now, as we move through the various levels, this doesn’t change! In fact the deeper you go into the Reiki Magic, the more help you will find! Of all of the people I have helped to start and progress along their Reiki journey in the last 14 years, only 5% have gone on to practice on other people and only 2% have gone on to teach. Most people use Reiki for themselves and sometimes to help out a friend or family member but overall, for the majority, it’s about deepening their own Healing and Connection.
Sacred Symbols
So, from level 2 onwards we get to share in some sacred symbols. These symbols have been passed down through the Reiki generations and are pretty Magical. Each symbol vibrates at a unique frequency and each does a different job. We can write these symbols down, we can visualise them, we can draw them in the air and they just work wonders. They power up your Reiki flow in amazing ways and bring in a new, special kind of
Healing. And YES! They are to be used on ourselves! Each level brings new symbols to use and when you go on to the Karuna® Master level… wowzers! We are gifted with even more symbols to use! It’s like having a tool kit of Magic to reach for whenever you want or need them. And I will say it again…. They are for us to use on ourselves, in fact the first thing we learn to do with these symbols is empower up our own hands and you will find that your Reiki takes on a whole new dimension!
Distance Healing
In level 2, we learn how to send distance Healing. It is lovely to be able to send Healing to friends and relatives who are far away from us or to people in hospital or on the other side of the world HOWEVER one of the most powerful things we can do with Distance Healing, is to send Healing back in time to our younger selves! Time and space mean nothing when it comes to Reiki. So, if you experienced pain or trauma in your childhood or teenage years, we can actually send Healing back to you at that age which will in turn hep to Heal you now! Crazy right?!
Holy Fire Experiences
For me, one of the best parts of attending a Holy Fire® Reiki course are the Holy Fire® Experiences that we do. These are meditation based and are so super powerful! We have Experiences for deep Connection, mega Healing, removing blockages and barriers, removing Spirit Attachments. Each Experience will lift your vibrations, bring you inspiration and Healing of all kinds. They totally blow my mind!
Placements & Ignitions
As we know, I teach Holy Fire® Reiki which is based on the normal Usui Reiki but brings a higher vibration of energy through when we channel. One of the main differences now is that I don’t do the old style attunements anymore. Now we use Placements for Levels 1 & 2 and Ignitions for Master Levels. If you are already attuned to a certain Reiki level, you won’t need to start again with the Holy Fire®, you will simply be able to take the next level up. I have had some amazing feedback from so many people who have experienced both the old style attunements and now the new Holy Fire® Placements and Ignitions and we all agree, the difference is phenomenal!
The Ignitions for the Master Levels do enable you to teach others, however the benefit I have felt from going through the process on a personal level has been life changing. Yes I use these skills and knowledge for my work but I have and am connecting on such a deeper level since having my Master Ignition.
Deep Healing For Yourself
Reiki has changed my life. Each time I have taken the next step, I have grown, Healed and connected in new and wonderful ways. The Healing I have experienced personally in my life is indescribable. I honestly would not be the person I am today without the growth and understanding I have gained as I have made my way along the Reiki path. And the best thing? It’s always growing and expanding… there is never an end to this MAGIC!
Increase The Power of Your Self Healing
The more experience you have with Reiki, the stronger your energy flow will be. The more understanding and techniques you gain, the stronger your energy flow will be… so if you are wanting to use Reiki energy only for yourself then surely, the higher your vibrations are…. The stronger your Reiki flow…. The deeper and more complete your Healing will be. It’s honestly the best gift you could ever give yourself.
Ask any of my Reiki students…. I never ask them how many treatments or courses they have done. I ask how much Self Healing they have been doing. Self Healing is the absolute key to Reiki. It is the foundation of the entire system and really should be the focus of everyone who works with this beautiful MAGIC no matter what level they have reached!
Raise Your Vibes on a More Permanent Level
Working with Reiki energy raises your vibrations and it stands to reason that the more energy you can channel and the deeper your relationship with the Divine and the energy itself, the higher your vibrations will rise. Higher vibes mean happy people! They mean the manifestation of dreams and goals, they mean better health on all levels and a deeper sense of wellbeing! I mean who wouldn’t want that?
Knowledge
With each level comes more information. I just love to learn and grow my understanding of the amazing Reiki world! The Master levels especially bring so much knowledge and information about the development of Reiki and new or different ways to use the energy for your own growth.
Deepen Your Relationship With The Divine
Through Reiki, I have opened myself to communicate more with the Universe, The Brothers & Sister of the Light (The Ascended Masters), The Angels, My own Higher Self…. All of Spirit in fact. Reiki has shown me how to allow this connection, how to reach out and feel….see… understand the connection between us humans and Divinity. Once again, the more energy that flows through you, the greater your connection with Spirit can grow.
The World
The world needs more love right now and one way to increase the love that flows around this planet is to encourage as many people to open to the LIGHT
that is Reiki. The higher we as the human race can raise our vibes, the better this world will be! We all need to do our part to lift the fear and sadness that hovers over us like invisible dark clouds and by using Reiki you are doing you part! Reiki allows you to be your true and authentic self and the more people who chose to live in this way means that more Love is getting in!
The Master Levels
To become a Reiki Master is an absolute privilege in my opinion. And yes, once you are a Master you can go on to teach (we do need more people spreading this MAGIC!) However, especially now with the Holy Fire®, the majority of the course is spent on YOU and YOUR development and Healing. For those who wish to teach, you will have my ongoing support and guidance – like whatever you need to get you out there….. but for people who are learning Reiki for their own empowerment and growth, the Master Levels bring you so so so much more! Karuna® Reiki is a different vibe entirely and it will light up parts of you that you never knew existed!
So… if you want to bring deep Healing in for yourself, if you want to connect and grow and develop your sense of SELF, LOVE, POWER and JOY, if you want to open to a more MAGICAL way of being, if you want to connect more deeply to the Guides and Spirit itself, if you just love to learn…. LEVEL UP!!!!
